YONDER ECHO

Five seconds. A chance connection.

Five seconds, your voice

Tap to record up to five seconds. Listen to the mountain echo before sending. Try another echo, or choose a ready-made phrase.

Someone beyond the dial

Move the virtual receiver toward a little light. Surprise me picks one of the real calls available. Choose the languages you want to hear.

Two lights meet

A short reply connects two lights like a tiny constellation. One final reply closes the encounter. Leave a little heart on a reply that reaches you.

A mountain for many languages

Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Each call carries a language badge. Choose which languages you want to hear; recorded voices are not translated.

A little longer on quiet days

New calls last up to 24 hours when usage is low, shortening automatically to a minimum of 60 seconds as activity grows. A reply opens a 60-second exchange; the final echo closes it sooner. No people or replies are invented.

A day at the observatory

Morning light and starry nights visit a hand-painted observatory. Birds pass by and meteors cross the sky. Weather and frequencies are fictional; the app does not use your location.

Leave the observatory open

Send another signal while you wait. Waiting mode opens up the clock and sky. Keeping the screen awake pauses when you switch to another app.
